MEET THE REV. MOTHER FOUNDRESS

We are called to be the light of the world--Rev. Mother Carina Maris of Jesus, SJHP, Ph.D.

SJHP discovered their strong faith in God and the desire to pursue a life of holiness and of service to all God's people. As Priestines, our religious services go first to our priests and then reaches out to every child of God-- the least, the lost, and the abandoned.

We are the light of the world Jesus Christ says. As the light of the world, we proclaim and live the word of God to the best of our ability and to the glory of Jesus Christ, our great High Priest.

WHO WE ARE

We are a male and female religious order in the Roman Catholic Church that gives our lives for the good and sanctification of priests.

For the lips of a priest should guard knowledge, and people should seek instruction from his mouth, for he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts. I Peter 2:9

OUR CHARISM

The Congregation of Sisters and Sons of Jesus the High Priest (SJHP) offers prayers and supplications to God for the life and sanctification of priests. Therefore, it is our charism to support our priests daily through the sacrificial life we live. We also promote vocations to the priesthood and religious life by establishing retreat centers and officiating vocation retreats for the youths and adults. We also build educational institutions for children and the youths, where a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and Our Mother Mary is initiated and nurtured. We serve our retired priests who spent their lives serving God's people and caring for them when they can no longer help themselves, thereby, assisting them to age gracefully.

APOSTOLATE

SJHP

Takes care of retired priests and prays for those in active service.
Educates all God's children from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Promotes vocations to priesthood and religious life through retreats and conferences.
Financially supports seminarians in need.

THE MISSION OF OUR APOSTOLATE

SJHP brothers and sisters motivate students to pursue their academic, spiritual and social goals with complete focus in showing their love of God and neighbor in their daily interactions. We provide a nurturing and faith-based learning environment that seeks to develop the intellectual, spiritual, emotional, and social aptitudes of our students; thereby empowering them to become successful for life.

PRAYER

We endeavor to maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through daily eucharistic adoration and child-like devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus and St. Joseph our spiritual father.

COMMUNITY OF LOVE

We live a life of loving fellowship among our members because love ties everything together. We believe every member is a special gift to the Congregation. As a gift, we celebrate our members and recognize their importance for the success of our Congregation and our ministries.

SERVICE
We believe joy is the heart of a successful Christian and religious life. We are called to bring love and joy to all God’s people beginning with ourselves, our priests, and to the world. By uncompromisingly living the Gospel values of love and joy, we promote God’s Kingdom in the world.
